Adam J. Freeman D.D.S.

Adam J. Freeman, D.D.S, MAGD earned his dental degree from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. He completed a fellowship in forensic odontology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Center for Education and Research in Forensics (CERF) in 2003.

Dr. Freeman is a former Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology and is a past President of the organization. He is also a past President of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, and currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Odontology section. He is the Dental Section Chief of Health and Human Services DMORT Region 1, a federal team dedicated to identifying the victims of mass fatality incidents. He is the Founder and Director of The State of Connecticut’s Disaster Identification Response Team (D.I.R.T), and a past Deputy Chair of Interpol's Disaster Victim Identification Odontology Working Group.

Dr. Freeman lectures internationally and has authored many chapters in textbooks as well as articles on the topic of dentistry.

Dr. Freeman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (F.A.C.D.), Fellow of the International College of Dentists (F.I.C.D.), a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D.)

Dr. Freeman was raised in Westport, he and his wife Peg raised their two children Ashley and Addison in Westport, they now have three grandchildren Mila, Luka and Parker.

Dr. Freeman and his family have a “farm” where they have rescued a donkey, four goats, two alpaca and four babydoll sheep.

Kimberly A. Farrell D.M.D.

For Dr. Kimberly A. Farrell, an early aptitude in math and science blended with a love of artistry. That naturally developed into an interest in dentistry - that place where art and science meet. She received her DMD with clinical honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and then served as a resident at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Farrell received her certificate in Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She also received her Master’s in Dental Science and is published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Farrell is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Farrell’s enthusiasm for prosthodontics stems from the many remarkable aspects of the profession: the constant evolution of technology; being part of an interdisciplinary team of clinicians providing high quality health care to patients of varying treatment complexity; and the opportunity to give people the gift of a smile and function.

Dr. Farrell is a fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. She also belongs to the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association.

When she’s not restoring smiles, Dr. Farrell is spending time with her husband, Michael, and her adorable German Shorthaired Pointer, Nelli. In her spare time, she is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Sudor Taino Group Fitness in West Hartford. Dr. Farrell is a hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate professional who is well rounded and understands the importance of family.

Dr. Farrell will be volunteering as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut twice per month.

Rachel Rhee D.M.D.

Yoojin Rachel Rhee is a board-certified pediatric dentist, who grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Brown University. She earned her doctorate in dental medicine at University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors in care of the medically complex, honors in community oral health, and accolades in research.

After dental school, she was elected chief resident in the general practice residency program at NYP- Weill Cornell Medicine. During her two-year general residency, she received specialized training in dental treatment of oncology patients while on her rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Following her general residency, she was elected chief resident in the pediatric dentistry residency program at Montefiore Medical Center- Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During her two-year pediatric residency, she rotated at Rose F. Kennedy Center, a special care dentistry clinic, and trained in completing dental treatment under sedation and general anesthesia.

Dr. Rachel decided at the age of 7 that she wanted to be a dentist! She was inspired by her childhood dentist’s ability to create positive dental visits, and she strives to build the same comfortable, rewarding, and fun dental home for every child that walks into her office. She tailors dental visits to each child and family’s unique needs, and her gentle demeanor and transparency will instantly make you and your child feel at home. Preventative and minimally-invasive dentistry are her preferred treatment modalities.

Dr. Rachel resides in Manhattan with her husband, Jay. Outside of the office, you can find her trying a new pizza place, hitting the links, spending time on the slopes, or spinning in a Soulcycle class. She is also an accomplished violinist, and speaks conversational French and Korean.

Richard A. Epstein D.M.D.

Dr. Richard Epstein is a family-friendly dentist, experienced in treating simple and complex cases. A Westport, Connecticut native, he comes from a family of dentists.

He earned a BA in Ecology from Brown University, and a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of CT School Of Dental Medicine. His Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) reflects a continuing commitment to professional learning and development, and he has accumulated multiple hours of continuing education with special interests in cosmetics, Invisalign orthodontics, snoring and sleep apnea, and implant dentistry.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Fairfield County Dental Club, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics, and is on the staff of the Norwalk Hospital Dental Clinic.

Dr. Epstein believes that a full life should balance work and other interests. He is committed to community service and serves on the board of directors of arts organizations and service groups, including the Westport Arts Advisory Committee.

Besides his devotion to care for his patients and his award-winning landscape and gardens, he is a dedicated professional musician playing bassoon with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra and saxophone in the Westport Community Band. He founded a jazz club in Westport, and produces a 3-hour bi-weekly eclectic program on WPKN 89.5FM and www.wpkn.org called “Sometimes Classical” that explores all types of music and sound.
